Tuesday will be our secong Wine tasting Class and the first one in English only. The theme is "Wine from the Rhone Valleey in France and worldwine wines using the same grapes". The wines which are going to be tasted are the following:

White wines:

Chateau La Verrerie - 2010 Viognier - France
Protero - 2007 Viognier - Australie

Red wines:

Vina Mont Gras - 2009 Antu Ninquen Syrah - Chili
Alvaro Palacios - 2000 Finca Dofi - Espagne
Ken Forrester - 2004 The Gypsy - Afrique du Sud
Domaine Beaurenard - 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Beaurenard - Rhone - France
Torbreck - 2008 The Struie - Australie

Information about wine tasting at Le Petit Zinc:

- On Tuesday, once a month between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm
- 2 500 THB fee
- 6 or 7 upper range wines
- Finger-food
- Lesson in French only or in English only
- If number of subscribers is not enough, we will postpone the wine tasting.

Wine tasting lesson, Tuesday 31st January, 8pm - 11pm, 2 650 THB

During this first lesson we tasted 7 wines with comparative analysis. Most of these wines came from France except a Pinot Noir from New-Zeland. Our sommelier is working for a well-known fine dining restaurant in Bangkok and is very happy to share his knowledge with us. This first lesson was only provided in French, but the next one will be in English.
